Windows Update Blocker v1.8 is a portable and user-friendly tool that allows you to easily disable Windows Updates on your system. The program will start loading after a few seconds. If it doesn’t load automatically, click the link above.

How It Works (WUB)

Extract Windows Update Blocker and run the program.
Check the service status icon to see the current Windows Update status.
To block automatic updates, select Disable Service and click Apply Now.
Enable Protect Service Settings to prevent unwanted changes.

Block Other Windows Services

Windows Update Blocker also lets you block additional services through the Wub.ini file.

Open Wub.ini and add the desired Service Name under dosvc=2,4.
Find the Service Name through Windows Services and add it to the file.
Open Windows Update Blocker and click Apply Now.

To remove a custom service, first enable services and apply the settings, then remove its entry from Wub.ini.

Service List Options

The Service List Options menu lets you easily manage services added to the [Service_List] section of Wub.ini. You can add up to 25 services. The wuausrv service is displayed for information only and cannot be edited.
